Provides information, education and skill-building training for parents of children ages 3-4 enrolled in the Head Start program. Provides a variety of opportunities for Head Start parents to increase their knowledge of education, parenting, nutrition, health, and other areas of interest based on parent surveys. Free Home Visiting Program for pregnant women, children and families who participate in Health Choice. KISS (Kids in Safety Seats): Allegany County Health Department, 301-777-5668: Provides affordable infant and toddler safety seats to families. This service also offers educaton about safety seat use at various ages. There is a distribution and inspection of safety seats. Bike helmets are also available in various sizes for $5 each.
